Due to the growth the business is experiencing we are recruiting for an exceptional Learning and Development Officer.
As a Learning and Development Officer, you will play an integral part in our business success by equipping staff with the knowledge and practical skills to carry out their work activities effectively.
As a Learning and Development Officer you’ll need to:
- Design, develop and deliver training materials for employees
- Develop effective induction programmes for new employees
- Ensure that statutory training requirements are met
- Be familiar in delivering a range of training using face to face, digital and blended learning options
- Promote a learning culture of continual professional development
- Keep accurate training records that are comprehensive and up to date
- Build and maintain strong relationships across departments within the business
- Provide bespoke coaching to employees who require further assistance with their roles.
- Collate and review employee feedback and competency scores to evaluate effectiveness of training programmes

You Must:
- Already live within a 40 minute commute of Buckshaw Village in Lancashire
- 1+ year of experience working in a training or development role
- Have knowledge of adult learning principles/cycle and instructional design
- Have clear and effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Be honest, loyal, committed, hardworking and a positive attitude towards their work
- Have the ability to deliver training to a variety of audiences including management level
- Be flexible to business needs
- Have good organisational skills
- Be able to work to tight deadlines to ensure the effective delivery of service
- Have a good working knowledge of using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ideally have experience working in a regulated environment
- Have GCSEs in English and Maths to grade C, or equivalent, or above.
